GERMAN RESEARCH SHIP RETURNS AFTER A YEAR LONG ARCTIC EXPEDITION

The German vessel “Polarstern” returned to German port of Bremerhaven in mid-October after a year-long expedition on the Arctic. The mission spent 389 days drifting across the Arctic with a mission to gather information and data on the impact of climate change in the region.

SOYUZ MS-17 BLASTS OFF

On Wednesday, 14th October, 2020 three astronauts an American Kate Rubins and two Russians Sergey Ryzhikov and Sergey Kud-Sverchkov blasted off to International Space Station (ISS). They took off from Baikonur Cosmodrome in Kazakhstan at 10:45 am.
