WASHINGTON ZOO WELCOMES NEW PANDA CUB

The Smithsonian’s National Zoo in Washington DC announced the birth of a giant panda cub on August 21, 2020. The pink squeaking cub is currently the size of a butter stick. The medical examination to determine whether the cub is a male or female would be done at a later date and the cub would be named in about 100 days.

FLYING CARS SUCCESSFULLY TESTED IN JAPAN

SkyDrive Inc, a Japanese company successfully completed a flight test of the world’s first flying car. The test was conducted at the Toyota Test Field, one of the largest in Japan. The car, named SD-03, manned with a pilot, took off and circled the field for about four minutes.

Cubs, it’s an absolute delight to bring to your notice that a 20-year-old Neelakanta Bhanu Prakash from Hyderabad has won gold in the Mental Calculation World Championship, which was conducted at Mind Sports Olympiad in London recently. He won the title of being the ‘Fastest Human Calculator’ after beating the record of Ms. Shakuntala Devi (India) and Scott Flansburg (USA).
