‘We are here all the time, yet can’t be seen. We love darkness more than light, as in dark we twinkle and gleam’ Cubs, can you guess what are these? Stars, also known as Moon’s favourite buddies. In the past weeks we studied all about Moon, phases of moon and even about different moons in our Solar system. Let’s stop wondering and explore the diamonds in the sky!

MOONS OF THE SOLAR SYSTEM

Moon is a natural satellite which is defined as a celestial body that makes an orbit around the planet. There are more than two hundred moons in our solar system (excluding the moons of Pluto as Pluto is considered a dwarf planet.). Cubs, let us take detailed look at the moons of the 8 planets in our solar system.

Cubs, you all must have heard about the different phases of moon. More often the shape crescent is referred to Moon than anything else. But what exactly are the phases of moon and why do they occur? Let’s wear our space suits and hop on to the journey of ‘Phases of Moon’.
