ICE CREAM IN THE BAG

    Its summers and all I can think of is ice cream “Yuummmmm” but how about mixing taste with science. So, Cubs lets start making our own super cool ice cream.

    MATERIALS REQUIRED

    • ZIP LOCK BAG – 1 MEDIUM SIZE
    • ZIP LOCK BAG – 1 SMALL SIZE
    • FRESH CREAM -  1 CUP CREAM
    • VANILLA ESSENCE – 1 TEA SPOON
    • ICING SUGAR – 2 TABLE SPOON
    • SALT
    • ICE – LOTS OF IT

     

    INSTRUCTIONS

    1. In a small size zip lock bag just put the fresh cream, add icing sugar or powdered sugar and vanilla essence. Ensure that you zip lock it perfectly so that no content is spilled out.
    2. Take the medium size bag add lots of ice and salt to it. Also put the small size zip lock with cream and other ingredients in this bag and zip lock it securely.
    3. This is the fun part now Cubs just start shaking the bags vigorously for 7 -10 minutes or slightly more till you get a semi soft consistency.
    4. Hurray! Our yumm yumm ice cream is ready.
    5. Grab a spoon and start the feast.

    CONCLUSION

    What is happening here is that adding salt to ice prolongs its state and prolongs the melting of the same and, further, ice helps beat the cream and doesn’t turn to water.
